Changing Caste

Goreans can change castes or change from one class to another within the same caste.
Switching communities doesn't change either your caste or your class.

players can join the out-caste ( /12caste ), but they would become outlaws.

Abandoning the Caste System (Desertion)

If the free goreans abandon their caste ( /12casteleave ) they turn into out-caste - outlaws.

Returning to the Caste System

Going back to the caste system (transform from out-caste to high-caste or low caste) they need to join a home stone, then they can change the caste of out-caste.

HIT GOR CLASSES

Hit Gor contains two types of classes standard and special.

Standard Classes

players can join the standard classes using the class menu ( /12class ), or by invitation from another class member ( hud arrow > actions > class ).

Special Classes

players are auto transforming to special classes by taking some roleplay decisions ( escaping slavery, abandoning their home stones...etc ), or by an invitation from another class member ( hud arrow > actions > class ).

Class Transformation and Stages

Class transformation describes the rules for how a gorean can transform from one class to another, class transformation gives depth to roleplay, and people play the class more into the transformation, this feature if used well may enrich the roleplay part of the community.

Gorean

Players are born with the generic Gorean class, it is a "standard" type class, so players can transform from being a Gorean to another of the available "standard" classes using the class menu ( /12class ).

Free Women and Free Men

Any class that is not Kajira (slave-girl) or Kajirus (slave-boy) is considered a free gorean.

Kajira (slave-girl) and Kajirus (slave-boy)

Kajira and Kajirus are the slave classes and they are Special classes, players cannot join or leave slave classes using the menu, and they can neither invite people to join their class nor be invited by others of the same class, they need to be enslaved ( slaves cannot enslave others ) to become slaves (Kajira or Kajirus) and you would auto get the correct class based on your system assigned gender (Female or Male).

Released Slaves

Released slaves become totally free, they will start over as a free Gorean, keeping their homelands and home stones, and this is the safest way to be free, I don't think you would think of escaping, would you escape?

Escaping Slavery

You can escape the life of slavery, yes, but when you do you would not become a free Gorean and live your life normally, no, you will become a Runaway-Slave and you will still be owned, and your tag shows you are a Runaway-Slave, based on the land you are visiting's nature and rules as a Runaway-Slave you will face your destiny, all I can say is you need to run and find a safe shelter to hide, maybe in the forests or the jungles and seek an (Panther / Taluna / Outlaw) to invite you to their bands and classes and protect you.

Panthers, Talunas, and Mambas

Panther, Taluna, and Mamba are Special Classes, we don't become panthers or talunas or mambas easily, we need to be accepted among them, only a panther or a taluna or a mamba can turn you into one by accepting and inviting you, they may ask you to prove yourself worthy to be part of their tribes, the first ever Panthers are the most famous ones Phoeximiliam Renfort and Mariko Marchant, and the first Talunas are Aine Bellisserian and NyotaNyah, and the first Mamba is Mirenxu Arriaga these five famous names would inherit the classes to the rest of you.

Outlaws

Outlaw is a Special Class You become an Outlaw in many ways, one of them is to leave your home stone, this would make you an Outlaw immediately.

leaving any of the out-caste classes ( /12classleave ) would auto transfor you into an outlaw class.

Panther girls are beautiful, proud, arrogant, independent, swift, dangerous, and fierce, they live in the northern forests and know the trails and trees of the vast forests, some call them forest girls, they are armed, and could fight and protect themselves, they dress themselves in the teeth and skins of forest panthers, which they slay with their knives, spears, and bows. Some were doubtless once slaves, others were once free women, perhaps they did not care for matches arranged by their parents, perhaps they did not care for the ways of their cities with respect to women. Who knows?

They live in thatched huts in small bands, often ambushing travelers along the rivers and streams that snaked through the jungles.
